Jasmine YinYa Green Tea is a high-end premium scented green tea, widely cherished for its exquisite appearance, pure floral aroma and delicate taste. It originates from China’s major tea-producing regions and adopts traditional jasmine scenting craftsmanship, ranking among the finest jasmine teas.

Raw Materials & Production

This tea is exclusively made of single tender tea buds picked in early spring. The buds are plump, full and covered with dense silvery white down, which gives the tea its name “Yin Ya”. After meticulous withering, fixation and rolling, the base tea is ready for scenting.
We use fresh natural jasmine blossoms and conduct multiple rounds of layered scenting. The tea fully absorbs the floral essence overnight, and the spent flowers are sifted out afterwards. The whole process uses no artificial essences, pigments or additives, retaining the original pure fragrance of jasmine and fresh tea notes.

Appearance, Aroma & Flavor

  • Dry tea: The buds are straight, plump and uniformly shaped, presenting a lustrous silvery-white look with abundant fine hairs.
  • Aroma: It has an intense, fresh and elegant jasmine fragrance. The floral scent is pure and lasting, soft rather than pungent.
  • Tea liquor: The brewed tea is crystal clear, pale green and bright, with a gorgeous visual effect.
  • Taste: The taste is mellow, fresh and sweet, extremely smooth on the palate. The floral aroma blends perfectly with the delicate umami of green tea, with no astringency. The sweet aftertaste lingers long in the mouth.
  • Steeped leaves: The soaked buds stay complete and tender, showing a soft light green color.
